- Biography
Mr. Darwin Yim received his BEng, MPhil degrees from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 1995 and 1998, respectively, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. After that, he joined the Fujitsu Semiconductor Pacific Asia Limited in March 1998, and started to design flash memory in Japan. In year 2000, he brought along the technology to Hong Kong and started to set up a small design team to design flash IC. From 2001 to 2006, he worked with FASL (Fujitsu/AMD Semiconductor Limited) and created a series of flash memories product. In year 2006, Darwin and his team was moved back to Fujitsu embelied technology team and begun the development of embelied Flash product for Fujitsu MCU. In year 2008, he also started to manage Analog IP development team. From 2008 to 2012, he helped to direct the Flash and Analog IP team to develop Asia IC product, especially for China market. In Mar of 2012, he has left Fujitsu Hong Kong and then joins the HKUST Integrated Power Electronics Laboratory (IPEL).
