- Biography
Liu was born in Hunan, China. He received the B.Sc. degree in Physics from Jishou University, in 2004, and the M.Sc. degree, honored with excellent graduate, in Microelectronics from University of Electronic, Science and Technology of China (UESTC), in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he joined Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. as an analog engineer. He received Innovation of the Year Award (Ranking: 3rd) from Actions in 2010. He joined The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in the Fall of 2010, and finished his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in April 2014.
Sadly, Dr. Liu passed away in June 2014.
